About Ryan

Ryan Gurian is a native New Yorker with experience as an actor and writer. He often leans into the quirkier sides of his oddball self when embracing characters for the stage or screen, but is apt at supporting his partner or ensemble when called upon. 

 

Ryan has trained at Second City as part of the Conservatory/Grad Revue program, in addition to the full curriculums at Brooklyn Comedy Collective (BCC), The PIT, and Coldtowne Theater. He has attended sketchwriting and character classes at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade in New York City, plus acting classes and workshops at various studios.

 

Ryan has appeared in several online shorts produced by Dropout TV (née “College Humor”) and MTV. He’s performed in festivals including The Fun & Dumb Fest, INDIEfest, and the New York Comedy Festival among others. On stage, Ryan is an active participant in the NYC sketch and improv scene.

 

Currently, Ryan is writing and producing his first solo show, “Full Stupid”. His comedic voice has been described as “retro abstract scatterbrain.”
